A Heartfelt Greeting from Darious Hunter, President

Hello and a warm welcome to all,
As a proud Baltimore native, family man, and dedicated local entrepreneur, I am deeply honored to lead our mission at Rebuilding Baltimore. My journey has been one of resilience, hope, and a steadfast commitment to our beloved city.
My childhood was marked by challenges — a survivor of group homes and foster care, I faced uncertainty and adversity from an early age. However, life granted me a second chance when I reunited with my father at the age of eight. This reunion opened the doors to a world where family and community played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today.
My professional path led me to become a Master General Agent ACP, where I honed project management and leadership skills. These experiences and my personal history have instilled in me a deep understanding of the transformative power of a nurturing environment.
At Rebuilding Baltimore, our vision is clear — to foster safe, updated, and vibrant communities for the deserving residents of our city. It's more than just constructing buildings; it's about crafting homes, nurturing dreams, and building a future together.
I invite you to join us in this noble endeavor. Together, let's rejuvenate Baltimore, one home at a time, laying the foundation for a community where every individual can thrive.
